What you’ll focus on:
- Basic surf etiquette and water safety
- Master the essentials of paddling, popping up, and passing the break
- Work on surf stance, positioning and balance
- Learn to catch unbroken waves
- Basic turning techniques
- Basics of slowing down & accelerating

Longboard Coaching
For intermediate surfers who can consistently catch unbroken waves
(on your own or with some assistance).
What you’ll focus on:
- Learn to select and catch waves unassisted
- Learn to time and angle your take off
- Understand the difference between trimming and carving turns
- Learn to cutback
- Cross stepping and nose riding

Shortboard Coaching
For advanced surfers who can consistently catch unbroken waves (on your own or with some assistance).
What you’ll focus on:
- Improve wave reading ability
- Generating speed on a wave
- Duck dives
- Basics of bottom turns & top turns
- Learn or improve your cutbacks
- Depending on your level - learn to do floaters, re-entries (snaps) or roundhouse cutbacks
